Scientio have created a facebook application around their ChatBot, ScientioBot. We've called it Burble. It uses ScientioBot's engine, but we've redesigned it to use profile information in its responses. In keeping with Facebook's privacy rules none of this information is stored in the application. http://apps.facebook.com/burblebot/ 

 

We're actively working on adding questionnaires - see XmlMiner - so that the chatbot can seamlessly switch to asking questions and automated form filling.

As well as offering an entertaining experience for users, our intention is to offer to vendors a sophisticated marketing platform that uses a subtle 'word of mouth' approach to selling.  By using rule sets and questionnaires commercial customers will be able to  receive filtered and prequalified sales leads.
