These pages are to help these people to try to identify what bits of scientio's product range might be useful.
Generally Scientio targets areas of Computer Science where non-analytic solutions are useful.
On the menu opposite you can select:
- Data mining, which is the analysis of numeric or logical relationships within source data in order to find a useful model with whichto categorise or predict futuredata values.
- Time series prediction, a special case of data mining concerned specifically with analysing and predicting time series.
- Rule Processing, a method for representing existing experience and rules, laws or other forms of knowledge as rule sets in our language Metarule, which can then be used to actively to make decisions, or to offeradvice byway ofdynamic questionnaires.
- Text processing, an array of techniques including text mining to recognise and make use of structure in text. This includes ChatBots, programs that can carry on a textual conversation with a visitor.
- Our products can be used especially easily with Microsoft's Sharepoint product.
- As a by product of our work we have implemented some quite complicated data processing techniques, such as KD Trees, the calculation of mutual information and suffix trees.
There isn't a one to one mapping of application areas to products: XmlMiner, for instance is useful in a wide range of areas, whereas ChaosKit is much more narrow in focus.
If you can't zero things in to one of these areas, then why not ask us directly? We'll do our best to give you an honest answer, and it's free!
